New Hair, New CD...

We decided it was time for a change. So Jossie now has 'short' hair. We reckon it looks great - what do you think. She obviously thinks it's pretty good, she takes every opportunity to have a little glance when there is any sort of reflection about. She lost her other top tooth yesterday (to add to the excitement), so what a year this is turning out to be eh?

You'll have to excuse the blatent advertising - I've been flogging this CD all over the place, and thankfully it's doing surprisingly well. I've been told it's made it to Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs and 1 has made it overseas. Certain Christian bookshops are stocking it for me, and sending it to their stores around Australia. The feedback has been very encouraging too - car trips where the kids won't let Mum and Dad turn it off - school classes using songs with their kids - Sunday schools getting good use from it. I made it to be of use, and I'm so grateful that it is....

Finally, for all who read this blog - if you would like a CD, the best way to get it is to email me with details at andrew@10ft8music.com.au I'll post it straight away, and email you back our bank details for direct deposit (unless you would prefer another way). I'd happily hand them out for free, but I have a debt to pay.... so cost is $20 per CD.

Advert ends here...done.

Done, and done....

Well finally it's complete! We had the launch of my kids CD yesterday and it was great fun. Lots of people turned up (to my relief - advertising was minimal to say the least) - we put on a big concert with huge games of Duck Duck Goose and pass the parcel, lots of interaction, sillyness and of course singing - we had clowns and a magic act too.... (he produced a 'CD lunch' out of a box - the adults found it hilarious and the kids laughed anyway...) To end the event, we gave most kids party poppers, taped a CD cover to a rocket, did a big countdown and launched it..... huge excitement! Amy had made big cakes, and many other people contributed with food, organisation etc etc... I really am indebted to many people. You can get a glimpse of the day at www.10ft8music.com.au

Our church has been very supportive, as has the Christian College where Joss goes to school. CD's are dissapearing pretty quickly, which is encouraging too. We are now putting together a show to take to schools and other church kids groups in the region. Exciting times!
